(again).... how to study for exam lidat!?? i didn't even finish studying for the fluids test today n everyone in the lt copied from one another.. again. lecture test always lidat. one more lab report to write tmr due thurs. this lab is a make up for me cos i missed one due to evo. yeah damn overdue liao...

Just sat for my Math Make up test an 3 hours ago.. i got 95! good rite? that is becos the room only got 3 students n the prof is sitting in front n i sat right at the back. hehehe.. you can guess wat happen la.but alot of ppl got 100!!

went to buy jun's bday present yest n saw ALOT of clothes i wanna buy! if only i have more extra $$. i saw at least 5 tops i wanna buY!! argH! but birthday present more impt! hope she likes it! the Emix dancers n me(think im the only non emix wan) going MoS to celebrate! its been eons since i went clubbing haha..

Darren is going to clear leave soon! next week onwards in fact. i'm gonna miss the convinience of him sending me back.not that he send me back everyday la. hurhur.. i dun mind public transport, i just want a freaking seat on the mrt which obviously i nvr had!!

and Fado may be cancelled from TJ dance nite cos response is poor!! ahhhhH!!

damn it. i got 2 mid term tests on thursday n lab report to hand it on thursday(my lab is on wed so i can't do earlier). this is damn irritating man... i think i cannot go for TJ alumni prac this wed already.. sorry guys, but i only received the email of the mid term test on sun nite.

anw sunday was also the last tech class for dance ensemble. choreoed to some rain song n its damn freaking fsat. zainio taught 3 eights in 2 min i swear. at 1 shot. den play music already... now my calves n thighs are aching like mad. but its good for my body i guess..

Evocation:

Wow.

That’s the word to describe evocation’06. Seriously, its really freaking darn good. So good that i went for both nights of their concert. In case some of you are not aware, Evocation is an annual dance showcase, put up by NUS Dance Ensemble. This is their 4th year running and it just keep getting better! It actually serves as a platform for budding choreographers to showcase their originality and boy were the originality seen.

One of my personal favorites was the first item which started the concert kicking.. a broadway jazz styled piece -Right Now. Imgaine this, a huge group of girls, in their heels or boots and in that black, sexy corset, teasing the crowd. Not as much technical moves as some of the other pieces but entertainment value — full marks! A really great way of starting the showcase!!

Most of the dances involved at least 6 dancers and some had at least 20 dancers but there was this particular item which only had 2 female dancers in it. Its a piece which was really intense and captivating, telling a story of attraction and desire two girls shared. Impeccable techniques and the dancers conveyed their emotions through their expressions and the choreography. Even though there were only 2 dancers, they totally filled the whole stage with their leaps and successive pirouettes (turns). Thumbs Up!!

yeapsy..ensemble will be showcasing many more great pieces in their annual large scale concert, The Next Wave so for those who are really into jazz, ballet, funk stuff, be sure to keep a look out for their concert in September!!

TJ alumni item is only half done in choreo... i hope whoever is reading n in the dance try n come up with a few eights? i think if one person come up with 8 more eights n we'll be done! i really want the item to be of some standard... somemore at kallang theatre n ensemble will be there. if the item suck i dunno where to hide my face *cross fingers*

haven blogged for quite a while. i wanna post pictures of evo and hip hop nite (which were both a tremendous success) but i have no freaking camera n i wasnt online for anyone to send so i have no pictures...bleah.

just finished editing a lab report to hand in tmr, took me quite a while even though all my reports are copy n paste. i hate labs!! anw i forgot to bring my thai homework to hand in today so i had to redo one in sch today to hand in. waste all my efforts last night!

darren's parents just came back from bkktoday n they bought me quite alot of stuff. im quite stunned. 2 tops, some earrings n food! hurhur.. his mom got good taste in tops man. thanks so much!!

had a major bitch fest today at my house CC with M and V. it was act just me sending M to the bus stop to wait for bus but we met V on the way so we stopped to talk a lil... we started bitching for damn long along the shelteres walk way n we decided to sit down properly to talk.. i mean bitch. it feels damn good to have an outlet like this. haha... and we all came to the same conclusion about dance. its sad to know this but there's nothing much we can do. im sad that this is happening n i know the membership for next sem is gonna drop... haiz.

Dance Ensemble is doing Fado for TJ dance night!! and they are going to cast members again this time cos kallang theatre is obviously bigger than lt13. i want to be in fado so badly...!! but i know i wont get casted into fado cos im not good enough.. sigh... well at least they're coming so TJ can see that wonderful piece again!
