the past week had been a blast! in a nutshell... ML honeymoon orientation rawks!!

firstly, the whole day workshops on wed n thurs was held at carlton, (not a v high class hotel i know), the point is, the 2 day workshop was held in a small room with 4 tables. n i know this kinda workshop can be held in the ML office too since there's only 15 of us. but they still book a hotel for us! it was suppose to be gallery hotel but they scared it will be too inaccessible for us so become carlton.

and the food there is FANTABULOUS!! we were served morning tea, internation buffet lunch, n afternoon tea, for the 2 days. every meal is smthg nice. their deserts are the best i've ever seen! really wanna try everything but i cant cos im so full with the buffet alr. we ate so much that the 80 min lunch wasnt enuf for us... i nvr ate so much sushi n oysters in my life on 3 consecutive days. i tried to take some pics.







and yesterday, they brought us to sentosa, n booked dinner for us at rasa sentosa! damn ex n nice too! anw im damn pissed with the service at rasa sentosa. when we wanted to go to the toilets to change, they didnt allow us to cos we r not guest from the room.

and they said if we want to use the toilet there each person have to pay $21!!! WTF. theres 15 of us! so they paid for us, which we felt really bad... den i was expecting some big steam bath toilet, in the end only got 3 cubicles! n its use shower ccurtain, no door, n no place to put ur stuff, so my things were damn wet n no space for my shower stuff... worse den 50cent public pool toilet. for $21!!!! still cant get over it. n the ppl served u like u owe them a living.

anw the buffet dinner was okkkkkkkkk.. the desrts is nothing compared to carlton,but v nice oysters! n we chat till 1045pm!

n this intern ian is damn nice la! he sent all the eastie girls back to the east even tho he is gg toa payoh to visit his gf! cos its 'late' n raining.... act all of them are super nice la, everyone is really helpful n funny. (except ****, who totally irritated everyone i think) i hope no one reads this!!!

oh well... honeymoon over. monday real work starts, n im gg korea on friday. i think my supervisor forgot about it... n i have no idea how to do my work stilll.... sucks.

n my mentor is a damn hot japanese lady! the tanned sexy kind! really turned my head man. n she is super nice too. she told me that she was paired up with me cos she dances as well... so funny. so at least now we have a common topic.

first day of internship was fun!

i have to admit this company is really quite different from all those temp jobs i work, even private sectors...

this week is our honeymoon period, where we dun need to do work but just have orientation for 1 week. which is quite long for orientation i think, they catered breakfast for us and treat us lunch, n u can order anythign u want. we r gg to carlton hotel for seminars on wed n thur. n friday is games day or smthg.

the ppl are damn funny n frenly, the its has a very open door culture, anyone can walk into the director's/president/anyone office anytime to talk about anything, n u dun have to account to your supervisor for it.

everyone jokes ard with everyone else, n treats each other equally, its very difficult to tell who's actually boss or whos running the show. we asked them alot of personal questions today and they were more than willing to ans.

the number of snr managers who turn up to visit us in the morning is more than the number of interns (about 20+) n i feel so insecure. i think other snr managemnt will just see the email about new interns coming n prob delete the email since they r so busy.

BUT,

i read my assigned task and i have no idea how to go about doing it.... argh. each of us got a different real life project to do. im very happy that they give us real work, not smthg they created just for us, but im dman stressed as well cos i think i cannot produce results. and, there IS programming involved... shucks.

anw im damn sad! last sem i missed the casting for rumi cos i was busy with impressario. this time, i really wanna do zaini's balinese, but the week of the DR casting i'm in korea!!!! howwwww....

sad..... i hate this.

only a few days left to rest. and i haven finish rushing my never ending errands...

just packed my wardrobe 2 days ago n now im lovin it. its danm neat and sorted accordingly. plus i ironed all my workign clothes.

i have also sent my laptop to repair after close to 3 yrs! like finally cos the warranty only 3 yrs so i bettter make sure i get everythign i can from the warranty.

i have change my posb bank book. must go down personally cos the old book not enuf space.

i have yet to go to starhub n check my 3g settings. i called them today about my prob n i think the ger also dunno whats wrong with it. i already activated, n i got the right card n phone plus 3 working days plus their system also show i got activate but y still dun have 3G!

n i need to collect my laptop.

and buy all the small small thing for korea trip..

The Korea Tourism Organization and the city of Seoul have teamed up to host R-16, a B-boy competition that hopes to establish itself as a major international event in the world break dancing arena.

The event, which will be held at Seoul’s Jamsil Sports Complex and City Hall Plaza from June 1-3, 2007, will include a number of performances, a concert, a graffiti art festival, and plenty of breakin’.

Included in the competition are sixteen crews from fourteen countries, including Massive Monkees from the US, Mortal Combat from Japan, and the 2006 BOTY champions, the Vagabonds from France. Two Korean crews, the Drifterz and the Rivers, were selected on March 31, after a fierce preliminary competition, to compete with the world-ranked crews.

Breakdancing competitions for R-16 (“R-stands for “Respect, Revolution and Ranking” and “16” represents the total number of crews that will participate in the event) will be held on June 1 and 2 at Jamsil Sports Complex. The first day of competition will include performance battles and the second day will include team battles. The top ranking crew of both events will be crowned champions.

i dont mind going for the fringe events, but there's not much info on that other than one on 31 may in N tower. haha im still thinking how come singapore nvr participate!! haha...

and i kinda got over the vibration theory shit... maybe until the results are out den i freak again.

went impropmtu shopping with marie that day at tampines to buy my much needed 'business casual' clothes for inernship. and i realise i keep buying stripes!! in fact i only have 1 plain/versatile top which i bought at chinatown with my mom. and chinatown clothes not say v cheap also.

bout like 3 sets of clothes only, means can last 3 days, plus before that 1 set with mom, so its 4 days. i wanna wanna get enuf for 5 days den repeat! but im broke already so....

anw the dress pants i bought from century sq is only $19 per pair!! so i bought 2 pairs! damn cheap can!! and the skirt i buoght also 50%! the tops were not as cheap tho. anw i feel good to be able to shop again... like damn long din shop cos im broke but now there's a good reason to shop so ya..

even marie cant tahan n bought her much desired vest and a $13 dress from isetan!

met up with syd n mon n their fren JZ yest... i love the place we dined. Ma Maison at bugis junction! really long queue n the food +ambience is worth the wait. its a japanese styled western restaurant. i dunno whethere to feel that im in japan or in europe tho.



darren is having the time of his life now in Hong Kong i bet... so envious!! that time i brought xuanxuan to send him off but shes zzz so when he was leaving i woke her up to talk to him abit. i guess she was in a crazy mood (like all kids, so erractic), she refused to mumble to him or even face him at all. so notti can..!
